My daughter has always been scribbling and doodling since the age of two... read the article below..

But our lives changed when the Community Manager from Google rang me up on a morning when i had just come back from my daughter's school... listening to her Chemistry teacher yell on us for Vaidehi not doing ":well" in her subject.
i just burst out crying ...as Rohit Sakunia, the GOOGLE guy told me she beat 1 MILLION kids to emerge in the top 12 and that we had to send in our confirmations to attend teh grand function in Delhi.

Life was taking a turn for the better ....i could not believe it ...neither did my little girl....so we asked Rohit to talk to my daughter again when she returned from school.....life was about to change in an awesome way ......

we were so excited and over the moon with the top 12 news that we didnt care about winning or losing tehcompetition.
it was like a vindication for our labour of love ....THE BEST WAS YET TO COME !

Rejection therapy

Rejections are always difficult to handle.....These too can be handled through the Rejection therapy Technique .....i just stumbled upon it in the TedX YouTube videos and it was awesome!!!

U just do things that u know will be rejected ....... Like as someone else to borrow their dog, or go to Puzzahut n ask for a burger ..... The logic being .......

That the more u get rejected , the less it hurts you ..... Very true ... I tried it . Really works !

Especially for sensitive females like me ... Sure does work like magic .... Rejection therapy lifts up ur spirits ( surprisingly !!!) coz u r expecting to be rejected ....n sometimes u do get a yes!!!! Too si that's a bonus !

Nice idea .... Helps deal with life positively ... Rejection therapy DOES WORK 👍

What to write??? This stupid illness is driving me nuts..... Just realised that ......long term illness breaks u mentally more than physically . 

It all about mind over matter ... So cliched .... But so true :)

Three months of mysterious fever .... Enteric fever, bed rest,,,,,, this body can give up anytime .... It's the mind that sustains us !!!!

And the thing we call the spirit !

Lumbar puncture and spinal headaches

Nothing like anything before ........ These headaches r the granddad of all headaches !!!

I sm a patient of migraines ....

But spinal headaches r out of this world !!!!!

After my lumbar puncture i was quite ok .... After 24 hrs the headaches visited me ...... And now ..... 15 minutes of standing or sitting is enough to have a really rocking ( feels like rocks pounding inside ur brain) headache .

Only lying down makes it better !!! Crap

Going with the flow

I have been ringing up and sms ing principals of B Ed ( Bachelor of Education) colleges n asking them to let me conduct teacher training program's in LD but to no response . They care a shit about such kids. 80% of our trained BEd teachers don't know a shit about Learning Disability LD and how to handle such kids :( nor do they care to know ! Saaad!:( now I've given up .

Let life take its course! Maybe it's not willed . God just wants me to GO WITH THE FLOW SND NOT TRY TOO HARD.!!!!!

So i give up ! I believe it saves time and effort to just give up n ho with the flow :) hope this helps ! It will definitely save energy m maybe one day people will want to know more about LD and call me   Up themselves:) 

Till then relax and go with the flow - is the mantra , no point being so active .... Proactive .... Things happen when they have to happen :)

Candy crush calmed me yipeee

God! A video game had such a calming effect on me :)

A rather childish game like candy crush which my younger daughter was playing suddenly caught my attention during those days when one is frustrated, tired, sad, depressed and angry - all at thd same time . 

I had a deluge of uncontrollable, emotionally volatile emotions that were just too much to handle and really needed to quiten the storm within .

Tried deep breathing , meditation, sitting in silence, blogging , nothing seemed to work and suddenly .......... CANDY CRUSH .

The sheer joy of childhood returned ! It needed a lil bit of thinking and hand coordination and to do that, the monkey mind stopped its stupid antics and thoughts paused! 

Great way to calm down !!!!!! Candy candy crush all the way . It really helped me cope with my stress and smile . Now i know why kids r addicted to it . 

Way to go .... Atleast to begin with .... Without getting addicted though!
